14 des. Pygmalion

Our students of 1st and 2nd of Batxillerat attended a performance of “Pygmalion” on December 12th. This famous play was written by the Irish author George Bernard Shaw. It was adapted as a musical in the mid 60s. This adaptation was called “My Fair Lady” and was directed by George Cukor. It won eight Academy Awards, also known as “Oscars”, in 1964.

Our students at the INS Pedraforca enjoyed the play a lot. They also learnt a bit of English. When the adaptation of the play ended, students could ask questions to the players. The players kindly answered all of them.

It was a huge success. We’ll return next year!!!!
