All the 3r ESO students of Pedraforca high school had to design different travel brochures using the Canva tool. We chose to do this exercise so we could put in practice different competences such as how to search for and select information from Google about a place we would like to visit or write about. We learnt how to select the most relevant information to attract our readers and, who knows, perhaps future visitors to the chosen places. We thought that as we are unable to travel during the COVID crisis, writing about places we would like to go it could lift our spirits a little bit. We decided to use the Canva tool because it is a free website where you can design whatever you like even if you aren’t a designer. Canva is a very interesting tool used by many companies to design their own posters, travel brochures, business cards and so on. It was an opportunity to work on our digital competence too! We invite you to read the brochures selected to be published on the Pedraforca website and enjoy imagining the day when we are able to travel again around our beautiful world.
